In as much as we have witnessed no violation of the law we do not feel warranted in making the sweeping charges that our complaing friend does. There is a remedy for the public, however, if there is any specific case. Let any citizen, who can establish a case of law breaking, issue a warrant against the offending party and the offi cers will be prompt in executing it. That is the only effective way to rid the city el anything that can be proven contrary to law. —The Cramps are willing build a cruiser for the Sultan Turkey, but they know the cuss, and say they must have their money in advance. to of old all — Canada contains 200,000 more square miles than the United States, but hasn’t much more pop ulation than the State of New York, just across the line. Every woman loves to think of the time when a soft little body, all her own, will nestle in her bosom, fully satisfying the yearning which lies in the heart of every good woman. But yet there is a black cloud hovering about the pretty picture in her mind which fills her with terror. The dread of childbirth takes away much of the joy of motherhood. And yet it need not be so. For sometime there has been upon the market, well-known and recommended by physicians, a liniment called Ksfcp’s files which makes childbirth as simple and easy as nature intended it. It is a strengthening, penetrating liniment, which the skin readily absorbs. It gives the muscles elasticity and vigor, prevents sore breasts, morning sick ness and the loss of the girlish figure. Mrs. William Blydenburgh, of Stony Brook, L. 1. gave birth Fri day night to two girls and a boy, all above the average baby's weight and all as sound and lusty as any ever born. The mother has been married twice and was a widow with two children when her present husband married her three years ago. Previous to the birth of the triplets she had borne him one child. When the nurse announced the safe delivery of a girl he shouted “Glory.” when the boy camo he cried out: “Glory, hallelujah!” But when the second girl arrived he was stricken dumb for awhile. Finding his voice at last, he lif ted up his hands and eyes to the roof and fevervently exclaimed: “Lord, we can take care of them all, but we only had clothes enough for one. G ory hallelujah!” Presents of all kinds and sugges lions for names are pouring in on the parents. The Russian Thistle. When the Russian thistle made its appearance in the Dakotas and adjoining’ States, the farmers thought a great calamity had struck them, and petitioned Con gress to appropriate $*,000,000 to extirpate it. But they wouldn't part with the thistle now for any thing because they have discover ed that when cut green it makes splendid feed for stock.
